American Indians
Native Americans. "Indians" was created by the Italian navigator C. Columbus at the end of the 15th century.
He mistook the Americas for India, and thus mistakenly called the Native Americans "Indians". The Chinese translator is translated as "Indians" in order to distinguish it from the real Indians.
